Wedding Photographer in Jerusalem

One day, no rehearsal, and most of what you remember will be in the photographs.

A wedding

A wedding day does not stop. From the preparations in the morning to the last dance I am there, and most of the time you will not notice me — that is the point. What you keep at the end is not only the chuppah: it is your mother fixing your dress, a friend laughing in the middle of the ceremony, the second the two of you are alone in a room.

In Jerusalem there are places I return to because they work: Mahane Yehuda while the market is open and everything is moving, the light rail in the evening, Old City stone in the last hour of light, the Tower of David, the windmill. We choose together, around your route and your timings.

I talk a lot while I shoot. I ask you to move, to turn, to say something to each other. In the moment it sounds strange. Then you see the photographs.
