No standing in a line. No saying cheese.
A good family photograph does not happen with everyone lined up looking at the camera. It happens when people are given something to do and photographed in the middle of doing it. So a family session with me looks more like a walk than a studio.
With children this is not optional. A child asked to smile produces the smile of a child who was asked to smile. A child who is playing does not notice the camera, and that is the whole difference.
I also photograph engagements and couples — outdoors, in the city, or somewhere that means something to you.
